Description
Intercambio Uniting Communities improves immigrant lives through English education and unites communities across cultures. Each year, it teaches English to over 400 adult immigrants through nearly 300 volunteers in various locations including classrooms, public facilities, students' homes, and Intercambio offices. Additionally, Intercambio has developed materials for its partner services program to teach English to adult immigrants and aid them in integrating into their new communities. Its ESL curriculum covers 11 levels of accomplishment and is used by ESL programs throughout the country.

Program areas at Intercambio Uniting Communities

Intercambio's boulder county program - each year, Intercambio teaches english to over 400 adult immigrants. Classes are taught by nearly 300 volunteers online and in classrooms, public facilities, students' homes, and Intercambio offices. Intercambio also teaches citizenship workshops. Intercambio also helps immigrants integrate into their new Communities through community conversation events where volunteers help students practice their english skills. Intercambio's programs have been replicated in all 50 states.
Intercambio's cc english program - teaches english to adult immigrants located throughout the united states. Classes are taught by volunteers online. Intercambio's esl curriculum, as well as training and teaching resources, are provided to all students and volunteers.
Intercambio's partner services program - Intercambio has developed materials to teach english to adult immigrants and help them integrate into their new Communities. Intercambio's esl curriculum covers 11 levels of accomplishment and is used by esl programs throughout the us. Intercambio also provides teacher and administrator training and teaching resources to programs using these materials. Intercambio's immigrant guide offers practical information about how to live in the us and is printed in 8 languages.
