Description
Leaders of the Greater MetroWest Jewish community founded the Jewish Community Foundation (JCF) in 1949, understanding that the well-being of our community depended upon planning for and investing in our future, regardless of changing times or economic conditions. Today JCF is the largest community foundation in NJ. We remain committed to ensuring that the communal resources of Greater MetroWest will be here for future generations. JCF is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ (Federation), and serves as its planned giving and endowment department.

Program areas at JCF

Endowment funds provide a critical base of support, serving the Jewish federation of Greater Metrowest, NJ, and our partner agencies as they strive to meet pressing needs locally, in israel and around the world. In addition, jcf has been the focus of new and innovative Community development and programmatic initiatives. We house a planned gift and endowment development department staffed by gift planning professionals who are prepared to assist donors and their families with all aspects of charitable gift plan design and implementation. Jcf manages the administration of donor advised funds and supporting foundations, working closely with donors and their families in helping them achieve their philanthropic goals. The Foundation takes responsibility for all aspects of managing these funds, enabling our donors to focus on their charitable giving. There are currently 363 donor advised funds that distributed a total of $58,521,419 to 1,633 charities.
