Katy Aquatics

Swim Team - to provide teaching and coaching instruction for all ages and abilities. Katy Aquatics Team for Youth (Katy) has the goal as a swim club to develop the minds and bodies for future athletic training and to always strive for excellence. Katy's coaches are members of the american swimming coaches association (asca) and are experts in proper breathing and stroke mechanics. During the current fiscal year, an average of 454 swimmers were enrolled in this program each month.

Learn to swim - this program aims to teach its students to swim without the stress of competition. Katy's swim america program provides the opportunity for all ages and abilities to learn to swim with proper teaching and coaching instruction. Water safety is an important component of the program and regular events are held to educate the whole family about water safety. Learn to swim group lessons have now been resumed, after they had been temporarily suspended due to the covid pandemic. During the current fiscal year, an average of 1,788 lessons per month were given.
