Program areas at Knights of Columbus Charities

In furtherance of its exempt purpose, Charities provided grants to other organizations. A portion of these grants were in support of ukraine solidarity relief. Ukraine solidarity relief provides urgent relief to civilian refugees and displaced persons by supplying shelter, food, medical supplies, clothing and religious goods, as well as other humanitarian needs as identified, both directly in ukraine and through refugee sites in poland.
In furtherance of its exempt purpose, Charities provided grants to other organizations to promote matters affecting life, family, marriage and similar priorities in building a culture of life. This program provided funding for ultrasound machines to various pregnancy crisis centers.
In furtherance of its exempt purpose, Charities provided grants to other organizations. A portion of these grants were in support of the coats for kids program. The coats for kids program provides warmth for children in need during cold winter months. The goal of the coats for kids program is to ensure that no child in north america goes without a coat during the winter season. The distribution of most of these grants has been disclosed as required in schedule f, part ii and schedule i, parts ii and iii.
In furtherance of its exempt purpose, Charities provided financial assistance to victims of various domestic and foreign natural disasters. This program provided assistance to victims of the following major natural disasters: hurricanes and other storms occurring in the caribbean, Florida and Oklahoma, wildfires occurring in Nebraska and Colorado, floods occurring in Kentucky, west Virginia and pakistan, and a typhoon occurring in the philippines.
In furtherance of its exempt purpose, Charities provided financial assistance for christians and other religious minorities being persecuted or displaced in iraq and the surrounding regions. In addition, to raise public awareness and education concerning persecuted christians and other religious minorities, especially in the middle east, Charities provided financial assistance and grants to charitable relief organizations.
