La Posada Home, Inc. is a charitable, non-profit agency where women and children are provided services in a supportive environment geared towards promoting independence. Independence is accomplished through the acquisition of job skills and education, which levels the job market and allows the head of the household to attain stable employment and support her family thus becomeing self-sufficient. These services, beside shelter, food, and clothing, include but are not limited to intense case management, counseling, self-help classes, nutrition classes, support groups, education, transportation, referrals to daycare, medical care, health care, education, and other services. During the fiscal year ended june 30, 2023, 98 adults and 119 children were served.
