This partnership builds off the success of the 2021 collaboration between davidson-davie and Wake Forest Baptist to launch the state's first registered nurse apprenticeship program. This new collaboration expands apprenticeship opportunities to other critical healthcare fields. More than 100 non-acute patients have been seen through the virtual hospital program that began dec. 24, 2021, at Wake Forest Baptist wilkes Medical Center and in early january 2022 at Wake Forest Baptist Lexington Medical center.atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Lexington Medical Center received two national honors in 2022.
