Program areas at Lifestyles of Maryland Foundation
Housing and homeless programs- providing shelter and supportive services for those who are homeless, access to food and clothing service; and programs such as safe nights, an emergency hypothermia overnight shelter program for individuals and families from october 1 through mid april each year, and various other transitional housing facilities for men, women and children.
Transportation programs- which provide necessary transportation options to people in need. The organization's transportation division provides subsidized transportation to support a household's self-sufficiency. Transportation services are available for low- to moderate-income households to access community services, employment,and medical-related appointments. Transportation is provided to senior citizens and persons with disabilities. Local shuttle service as well as transportation throughout the Washington metropolitan area is provided.
