Program areas at Marion Senior Services
Provide transportation for medical, life sustaining, or educational purposes for residents who do not drive or own/have access to a vehicle. Provide all ada transportation for residents of Marion county. Funding provided mainly through sections 5310 and 5311, transportation disadvantaged, and local county funds.
Title iiib is a federal program through the older americans act. It provides persons age 60 and over to receive homemaker Services, telephone reassurance and emergency alert response Services to help them live independent lives.
Community care for the elderly program provides home care Services, including adult day care, personal care, homemaker, home delivered meals, emergency alert response, case aid, and case management to functionally impaired elderly persons to help them live independent lives. Cce is funded through the state of Florida general revenue fund.
Other program Services includes title iiic-1, title iiic-2, title iiie, title xxvi, alzheimer's disease initiative, home care for the elderly, local Services, cdbg service facility, volunteer program, meals on wheels, preferred care, managed long-term care, and mental health Services through lutheran Services Florida.
