CONTINUING EDUCATION:MORS offers week long courses in Operations Research techniques, tools and specialties which provide students certificates of attendance and Continuing Education Credits awarded from Virginia Tech. Additional shorter courses are offered to assist MORS members with their professional development and skill development.
SPECIAL MEETINGS:Meeting registrations enhance the quality and effectiveness of military operations research by providing forums, in addition to the annual symposia, for professional exchange and peer criticism among practitioners and users of military operations research.
SYMPOSIUM:The Annual MORS Symposium has been the premier opportunity for the national security community to exchange information, examine research and discuss critical national security topics in a classified setting. Held in notable locations, the symposium gathers over a thousand professionals from military, government, industry and academic ranks to share best practices and experience peer-to-peer networking in a supportive environment. During the symposium, work in progress and completed work is shared, and potential areas for future study are discussed. The symposium is an unequaled opportunity to present, as well as be exposed to, the most current trends and techniques.
Other programs include membership, publications, EPD and industry relations
