Our peaceful home - a culturally specific domestic abuse and family strengthening program focusing on safety planning, intervention, emergency housing and advocacy. Interpretation is available in many languages and services are open to all with special expertise serving Muslim immigrants and refugees.
Milwaukee Muslim film festival - an annual groundbreaking event and one of a handful of Muslim film festivals in the country. Showcasing films from around the world with director talkbacks, panels, and unique experiences, the festival shows in october at the historic oriental theater in Milwaukee.
Immunization cooperative - a program funded by the Wisconsin department of health services to assist in establishing and maintaining preventive health to immunize individuals against vaccine-preventable diseases.
Wisconsin Muslim journal - the only free online publication that brings the stories of Wisconsin's Muslim community to a worldwide audience. Read across the united states and in almost 60 countries.islamic resource center - the only lending library in Wisconsin dedicated to providing resources on islam and muslims. The irc serves educators, students, health professionals, interfaith groups and the curious. Hosting book clubs, networking brunches, art exhibits, author talks and a wide range of events, it is a highly utilized resource in greater milwaukee.youth programming - the youth leadership program addresses healthy relationships, empowerment and positive self-image, providing tools for success in a culturally informed manner.public health - with over half the mmwc board members representing the health field, the mmwc has addressed countless areas of health including covid education and outreach, mental health education, women'Womens's health, bioethics, and more.
