The Foundation operates for the purpose of land conservation and for the promotion and advancement of conservation, protection, and preservation purposes of areas of land including but not limited to, pristine or near pristine areas of land, marsh land, wetlands, and areas of the coastal zone located in Louisiana and Texas. As of december 31, 2023 the Foundation owned and managed over 21,600 acres of land for the preservation of all types of wild nature associated with the land. The Foundation also works to establish and/or support natural reserves and other protected, ecologically unique, and sensitive areas.
