Focus in high school Mathematics: reasoning and sense making (2009) sets forth a vision of high school Mathematics putting reasoning and sense making at the core of learning. Principles to actions: ensuring mathematical success for all (2015) describes the principles and actions that are essential for a high-quality Mathematics education for all students. Nctm's new three-book series, catalyzing change, identifies the vexing issues that have long plagued Mathematics education in pre-k and elementary grades, middle school, and high school. Nctm also publishes a peer reviewed journal covering all grade bands.
