The National Guard Relief Foundation recognizes and supports the men and women contributing to US national security. To assist National Guard members and their families struggling with financial hardships from mobilizations, natural disasters, fires, catastrophic losses, or economic challenges, it offers WCFA interest-free loans. Additionally, current/former National Guard members in good standing who have experienced catastrophic financial hardship or personal property loss can apply for a Soldier and Airman Relief Grant for Emergencies (SARGE).

Soldier and Airman Relief Grants for Emergencies (SARGE): WCFA offers an opportunity to a current/ former National Guard member who is in good standing who has experienced a catastrophic financial hardship and/or personal property loss to apply for a SARGE grant. Grants may be used for financial hardships related to events such as mobilization, natural disasters, fires and other catastrophic losses. Grants are typically $500 and are transmitted to the individual usually within 5 days after receipt of completed application.
WCFA Interest-Free Loans: With thousands of National Guard members and their families facing financial hardships as a result of mobilizations, natural disasters, fires, catastrophic losses, and ongoing economic challenges, the United Services Automobile Association (USAA) and the Enlisted Association of the National Guard of the United States (EANGUS) We Care for America Foundation are teaming up to help National Guard members and families in need. Loans are available in amounts from $500 to $2,000. Repayment terms based on loan amount.
