Description
The Nevada Community Foundation was incorporated in 1988 with its first endowment, established through a significant contribution from Moe Dalitz to support human service needs. Since that time, NCF has helped hundreds of donors find their charitable passion, fulfill their philanthropic dreams, and make a lasting impact in their community. Currently, Nevada Community Foundation houses more than 150 charitable funds with over $100 million in assets, and meets all national standards from the Council on Foundations.

Program areas at NCF

The primary program expense of the Foundation consists of its direct financial support of other charities and charitable causes. Other substantial activities classified as program expenditures include the convening of charities to examine different Community issues, the creation and publication of educational and resource materials, technical and organizational consulting assistance to charities, and public education efforts designed to raise the level of charitable giving for the broad benefit of all non-profits in Nevada.
