New Teacher induction: over the last 20 years, New Teacher Center has worked with state agencies, school districts, policy-making organizations, and a range of educational institutions to define the characteristics and fundamental elements of high-quality induction programs that accelerate the development of New Teacher professional growth trajectory of New Teacher effectiveness, improve Teacher retention, strengthen Teacher leadership, increase student learning and support equitable outcomes for every learner.
Adaptive consultation: the New Teacher Center works to create equitable, coherent systems within states, districts, and schools. In addition to our deep work with Teacher induction and instructional coaching, New Teacher Center works with school leaders, early learning programs, academic and assessment departments, and district leaders to provide partner-specific consultation around areas of need. Our adaptive consultation approach is grounded in partner needs, as identified through quantitative and qualitative data points. This can include actions such as school and district level audits to help uncover challenges to be address through data assessment, consulting, and coaching. Each adaptive consultation partnership is unique to the partner while grounded in the historic strengths of the New Teacher Center.
Instructional coaching: prepares instructional coaches to acceleratenew and veteran teachers' instructional practices through on the jobcoaching. Based on our proven Teacher induction model, coachingdevelops the expertise of Teacher leaders to support the professionalgrowth of individuals or teams of teachers. The priority focus is on disrupting educational inequities by addressing content standards,social and emotional learning, and diverse learning needs. With qualitycoaching, educators are prepared to help students meet higher, morerigorous standards. Ntc-supported coaches work with teachers usingresearch-based tools and strategies to assess and advance instructionalpractice so that every student is successful
