Northern California Children's Therapy Center provides ongoing support for families and educators to offer a well-rounded treatment program as children leave infancy and enter preschool and school age. The Center also offers early identification and treatment programs for infants at risk of disabilities such as prematurity, low birth weight, cerebral palsy, and delayed development. Its mission is to ensure that no child goes through life with a preventable disability through early intervention.

Program areas at Northern California Children's Therapy Center

Infant program - early identification and treatment programs provide Therapy to infants at risk due to prematurity, low birth weight, muscular problems, cerebral palsy, delayed development, a number of birth defects and various other types of disabilities. The Center is currently treating 300 children in its infant program.
Help me grow - provides free developmental screening, resource, and referral for all children under age 5 in the community. The Center provided services to 1,200 children in this program.
Older children services - as children leave infancy and enter preschool and school age the Center provides ongoing support for the families and the local educators to provide the child with a well rounded consistent treatment program. The Center offers parent workshops, provides assistance and education to teachers in the classrooms and helps to coordinate appropriate goals for each child as they grow. The Center currently has 413 older children in this program.
Tribal outreach - the Center provides development screening services to native communities in yolo county.
