The organization provides education and training through an annual symposium directed at providers and Hospital administration, as well as other workshops and education forums for health professionals; our members are able to come together on an electronic medical record and it infrastructure to share information on a secure network; we work together on regional health issues such as opioid misuse, behavioral health and suicide prevention, palliative care and advanced directives, antimicrobial stewardship, patient care transitions, workforce development and a region wide social service database to help people with connecting to resources related to social determinants of health.
