Operation Black Hills Cabin provides a therapeutic environment to assist qualified combat wounded veterans from the Iraq/Afghanistan operations in their rehabilitation from traumatic and stressful experiences while serving the interests of our nation. In 2022, it hosted 10 families from across the United States, providing each family with a one-week respite in its fully handicap accessible cabin in Custer, SD, at no expense to them.
