Program areas at NESRI
Partners for Dignity & Rights (P4DR, legal name National Economic and Social Rights Initiative) supports community partners in their campaigns for economic and social rights, including education, housing, decent work and healthcare, and advances a larger vision of public goods, equity, and democracy for all. In 2022, P4DR continued working with partners across the country and the globe in responding to the needs of workers and communities impacted by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the continued attacks on racial equity and justice. Through our New Social Contract project, we connected our partners across issue areas to promote community-driven solutions for transforming our social and political system, highlighting issues of food justice, pushing back against privatization of public goods, and strategizing for how to scale equitable development.
