Strategic thought and training:partners for Home uses the coordinated entry system which is a streamlined system that connects individuals and families seeking assistance to a universal assessment, coordinated referral and housing placement process. Partners for home(pfh) works with atlanta agencies to connect people needing assistance with access points across atlanta. Partners for Home also worked to minimize the spread of covid-19 and respond to the needs of people experiencing homelessness, staff and volunteers in atlanta. Activities included creating temporary beds at hotels for homeless individuals who are at high-risk of contracting covid-19, system-wide transportation for covid homeless persons.
Funding:partners for Home works to secure private and public funds and serves as the collaborative applicant for the atlanta continuum of care (coc). The focus of the program is to align programs and implement permanent housing solutions for people experiencing homelessness. Partners for Home is the administrator of a $50 million public private fund. As such, the organization executes the goals of the community's strategic plan by initiating and implementing new initiatives, procuring providers and overseeing performance to ensure goals and outcomes are met.
