Many of our patients have no other health care available to them. Our mission is to enable all Marylanders to have access to a wide range of high quality, affordable reproductive health care services. By providing medical services, education, training, and advocacy, PPM seeks to help individuals make informed decisions about their reproductive health, family planning options, and sexuality.

Program areas at PPM

Patient services - the organization provides medical care for over 33,500 clients, including birth control, pregnancy testing and options counseling, reproductive exams, sexually transmitted disease testing and treatment, abortion and vasectomy. Now performing rapid hiv testing and hpv testing as well.
Public affairs - combines government relations, media communications, issue management, corporate and social responsibility, information dissemination and strategic communications advice. Providers aim to influence public policy, build and maintain a strong reputation and find common ground with stakeholders.
Community education and training - the organizations provides medically accurate sexuality and reproductive health education and training programs for youth, adults, parents and professionals in schools, community organizations, faith-based institutions and more. Programs cover topics including birth control, reproductive anatomy, healthy decision making, puberty, sexually transmitted diseases and abstinence.
