Program areas at Proteus
Labor programs: services are offered to farmworkers to either help stabilize them in their current employment or to assist them in obtaining new employment. Through the use of job training and employment services our participants will have gainful employment at livable wages. Support services are also offered to farmworkers and are used to help them in their current employment or when seeking other employment.
Other: provide assistance and coordination of services to individuals within the communities where we operate.
Health: to deliver comprehensive, high quality, culturally-competent preventive and primary health services to migrant and seasonal farmworkers and their families either through direct services or vouchers. Deliver health education and promotion to individuals in Iowa.
