RESIDENTIAL SERVICES: PROVIDEs SUPERVISED AND SUPPORTED IRA SUPPORTS TO 134 PEOPLE IN PUTNAM COUNTY. AS A CQL-CERTIFIED AGENCY, OUR SUPPORTS ARE PERSON-CENTERED AND INDIVIDUAL DRIVEN. WE SUPPORT A RAPIDLY AGING POPULATION- 64% OF OUR RESIDENT POPULATION IS 50 YEARS OLD OR OLDER, SEVEN OF WHOM ARE WILLOWBROOK CLASS MEMBERS. USING RECREATION GRANT FUNDS, WE SUPPORTED PEOPLE TO GO ON VACATION IN 2019. ON 7/1/2019 THE PUTNAM COUNTY CHAPTER unified WITH SISTER CHAPTER ULSTER-GREENE TO BECOME THE ARC MID-HUDSON. PUTNAM COUNTY CHAPTER JOINED ULSTER-GREENE WHOSE CAPACITY IS TO SERVE 272 INDIVIDUALS IN SUPERVISED AND SUPPORTED IRAS.
CLINICAL SERVICES: PROVIDES COMPREHENSIVE CLINICAL SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES AND THEIR FAMILIES. DISCIPLINES OFFERED INCLUDE PSYCHIATRY, PSYCHOLOGY, SOCIAL WORK, DIETARY/NUTRITION, PODIATRY, PRIMARY MEDICAL, PHYSICAL, OCCUPATIONAL, AND SPEECH THERAPY AND REHABILITATION COUNSELING. ON 7/1/19 PUTNAM COUNTY CHAPTER unified WITH SISTER CHAPTER, ULSTER-GREENE. THeir services ALSO INCLUDED CLINICAL SERVICES.
DAY HABILITATION SERVICES: SUPPORT 158 INDIVIDUALS IN PUTNAM COUNTY. AS A CQL-CERTIFIED AGENCY, WE STRIVE TO PROVIDE ACTIVITIES THAT ARE PERSON-CENTERED AND GIVE PEOPLE THE OPPORTUNITY TO HAVE NEW EXPERIENCES AND EXPLORE THEIR COMMUNITY. ACTIVITY HIGHLIGHTS THIS YEAR INCLUDED ATTENDING A RENEGADES GAME WITH 50 INDIVIDUALS, ENJOYING A TRINITY CRUISE, AND TAKING TRIPS TO THE BRONX ZOO AND NORWALK AQUARIUM. INDIVIDUALS ALSO EXPLORED A VARIETY OF LOCAL AND STATE PARKS IN THE REGION, AS WELL AS VOLUNTEERING IN COMMUNITY, SUCH AS WITH MEALS ON WHEELS AND GUIDING EYES FOR THE BLIND. ON 7/1/2019 THE PUTNAM COUNTY CHAPTER unified WITH SISTER CHAPTER ULSTER-GREENE TO BECOME THE ARC MID-HUDSON. PUTNAM COUNTY CHAPTER JOINED ULSTER-GREENE WHICH HAS 9 DAY HABILITATION PROGRAMS.
