Program areas at Red and Black Publishing Company

During the past fiscal year, in response to the covid pandemic, we changed the publication of our newspaper from weekly to monthly. Our plan is to return to weekly issues in september 2021. The Red & Black offered free journalism training to 225 students in the period of august 2020 to may 2021, with more than 150 students moving on to work as reporters, editors, photographers and other contributors to redandblack.com. The Red & Black earned recognition for journalism excellence from leading industry organizations including the associated collegiate press, the society of professional journalists and the Georgia college press association. Despite the challenges of covid, we set record traffic for readership at redandblack.com.
