Description
Reimagine Gender helps organizations, policy makers and families understand and address gender to help others thrive. The challenges we face today require new ideas and approaches, and that's possible only when everyone brings their unique perspective, skills, creativity and experience to the table, free of gender-based constraints. We work toward this by providing education, resources and tools to help people effectively reimagine gender in their world.

Program areas at Reimagine Gender

GENDER PLAYBOOK: Reimagine Gender offers services designed to educate companies and other organizations about gender and empower leaders to apply a gender lens across the organization. We offer trainings for leaders and practitioners, custom workshops, consulting, educational content and more. Our tools, programming and guidance help organizations reimagine gender - so they can thrive far into the future. This year we: - Spoke at the following conferences: Techonomy's Health and Wealth of America, Just Brands, Mobilize Women Summit, Sustainable Brands, National Association of Realtors, The Economist, Quartz at Work, and the Debug Summit - Published 14 articles - Delivered approximately 50 trainings - Participated in several podcasts including "The Will To Change: Uncovering True Stories of Diversity & Inclusion with Jennifer Brown", "HR Today", PR Council and the ANA's "Champions of Growth".
GLOBAL PARTNERS INITIATIVE: Supporting initiatives and partnering with organizations in furtherance of educating and promoting culturally- based inclusive understandings of gender. The Global Partners Initiative provides support to nonprofits and other organizations outside the United States as they seek to understand gender in their work and provide their constituents and partners with training and education on gender. This year we worked with Beirut DC, an organization in Lebanon focused on the development of independent Arab films. Reimagine Gender provides consultation, materials and education on gender to the team working on this initiative, and collaborate with them on a "mom to mom" program where moms can learn about gender and discuss how to support their children.
GENDER ED:Gender Ed is an education program that aims to help parents, families, and the general public understand evolving concepts of gender and the implications it has for them in various aspects of their lives. This year we published a number of articles, including: Reimagining Gender at School, The Power of a Gift, The AMA's Proposal on Birth Certificates, The Gender Problem with Mother's and Father's Day, Gender and Mental Health, 5 Ways to Help Your Children Navigate Gender and Developmental Stages of Gender in Young Children. We also had an article published in USA Today titled "What to do when your son wants to be a princess for Halloween". In addition, we participated in several events, including One Bad Mother and KQED's Forum.
