Prashanti Bala Mandira TrustPRASHANTI BALAMANDIRA NORTH, EXTENSION CHICKBALLAPURKARNATAKA, 562101, INDIADescription: Prashanti Bala Mandira Trust provides Free Medical and Education services provided to underprivileged people and children in rural India. The trust also provides free quality based holistic education to over 5000 rural children from 6th grade to post-graduate degrees. The trust also focuses on rendering selfless service to the needy and providing medical care to villages in India. PBMT has set up a multi-specialty hospital which provides free healthcare services that includes diagnosis, treatment and medicines for the villagers, particularly women and children in the surrounding district of Chikkaballapur, Karnataka. Currently over 1500 + patients visit the hospital on a daily basis. PBMT has expanded rural healthcare initiatives through the establishment of the worlds first rural medical college which provides deserving rural students the opportunity to pursue medical education. Students attending this college will be required to serve in rural sectors and the Institutes partner hospitals thereby addressing rural healthcare disparities.
Sai Prema Foundation FijiLot 1, Wantok Rd, Muanikau, Suva, FijiDescription: The Sai Prema Foundation has built the first free pediatric cardiac hospital in Fiji and the South Pacific Islands nations. The hospital provides free pediatric cardiac surgeries without any cost to the beneficiaries.
Sri Sathya Sai Health & Education Trust303, Tara Apartment, 132 Infantry Road, Bangalore, Karnataka, India 560001Description: The Sri Sathya Sai Health & Education Trust provides free child heart surgeries for needy children suffering from congenital heart disease. The trust also educates and provides skilled medical, nursing, and allied health care providers trainings to collectively address the burden of congenital heart disease. The trust advocates the Right to Healthy Childhood by bringing sharper focus in the area of child heart care, enabled by research and technology solutions that inform all stakeholders in the health care spectrum of preventive, curative, educative care to Mothers and pregnant mothers to prevent the onset of congenital heart disease. Currently, 27,000+ childrens lives childrens lives have been saved by these hospitals and 231,984+ diagnostic consultations have been completed in addition to 237,954+ maternal and children outreach screenings. Education initiatives, and antenatal care were given to pregnant mothers to ensure healthy children were delivered. Postnatal care was provided to mothers and newborns after birth.
