Fund projects that helped spd provide equipment to improve both officer safety and public safety. Provided continued funding for the emt and k9 first aid supplies and harbor unit supplies and boat repair and replacement k-9 officer.
Fund projects that helped spd strengthen officer wellness and morale and provide additional employee development/training opportunities to enhance first responder and communication skills. Partnered with local community members and businesses to create donation opportunities for officer overtime meals, ppe supplies and other care items to improve officer morale and safety as they worked overtime in resource poor environments. Fiscal sponsor for the 2022 nw icac regional conference.
Fund projects that helped spd strengthen community partnerships. Provided funding for safe place and crime prevention education materials allowing these programs to reach diverse audiences. Provided ongoing support for victim support programs, community and youth outreach programs that build relationships between spd and the community it serves and enhance public safety.
