Program areas at Servants
Home helps provides home repair and maintenance services to older adult, disabled and single parent homeowners in york, adams and lancaster counties. In 2022, we had 359 calls for help. With 257 active volunteers contributing 10,417 volunteer hours, completing approximately 306 projects in 109 homes.
As part of our serving at risk families ministry, we continued to serve our families as best we could and even expanded our reach to serve families in the surrounding community by supplying food and much needed medical supplies to many families.
In 2022, Servants was not able to send any international mission trips due to the risks of covid-19 for our volunteers and the people we serve. We instead focused on raising support for our ministry partners in uganda and guatemala that were in need of assistance due to the impact of the pandemic in their home countries.
Servants was able to send 3 small disaster trips in 2022. 16 volunteers donated 640 hours to serve in Mississippi and Kentucky.
