Program areas at Sherwood Community Services
Early Intervention program provides early intervention services, including education and licensed therapy services, to children from birth to age 3 who experience developmental delays or disabilities. Services are provided in the home and other natural environments, within a parent coaching model. The program served 848 clients during the period 7/1/2022-6/30/2023.
Assistive Technology program provides assistive technology services, adapted equipment, assessments, and computer access training for people with disabilities of all ages.
Vocational Services offers a continuum of services for transition students and adults with disabilities, and for employers who are interested in hiring individuals who experience a disability. Services provided can be tailored to individual needs.The program served 177 clients during the period 7/1/2022-6/30/2023.
