The Southeastern Pecan Growers Association provides education to enable growers to produce bigger and better pecan crops in an efficient and cost-effective manner. They print "the Proceedings" publication for members and others, which includes all technical and research papers presented at the educational meetings of the convention. The association holds a convention every last weekend in February which includes social, educational, exhibit, golf tournament, banquet, ladies program, and annual meeting activities.
