The Springer supports the Springer school of theatre Arts, the glesca marshall performing Arts library, Springer theatre on tour, the deepsouth new play contest, volunteer programs (Springer guild and soho) and mainstage season performances.

Program areas at Springer Opera House Arts Association

The association is involved in live theatre productions, theatre classes, and an art library intended to broaden the audience base and preserve historical materials and artifacts. The association produced shows on the main stage, school performances, shows in studio 2 and shows in the children's theatre. These shows served thousands of patrons as well as many students.
The association has a training program called the Springer theatre academy that has over 700 students. The acadamy has a staff of professional actors, directors, theatre teachers and technicians that provide training to motivated young artists and valuable educational resources to boost theatre and music programs in schools, colleges and theatre companies throughout the region. Classes at the academy include voice and movement, improv, skills and drills, scene study, playwriting and musical theatre.
