Program areas at St Paul's Episcopal School
St. Paul's is an independent, co-educational School serving approximately 370 students from kindergarten through eighth grade. The School is dedicated to education, providing the finest standard of education, and to enabling its graduates to advance successfully to high School and thereafter to university and careers. St. Paul's School measures its academic excellence in achievement - mastery of subject matter, classroom performance, high School entry, higher education and career paths - and also in the development of independent thinking, intellectual curiosity, self-confidence and positive relations with others.
The after School program (asp) is an extension of the regular School Day. The program serves the childcare needs of parents and students, and fosters the same community atmosphere as during the regular School Day. Asp students abide by the same School principles and guidelines. Students are allowed to move throughout the program to spaces that are open. They may participate in activities such as arts and crafts, basketball, play structure activities, board games, math challenge, social and silent study halls, computers, blocks and legos and much more. We also incorporate enrichment classes like tae kwon do, chess, reading club, knitting, kung fu, legos, and special art projects. We serve nutritious snacks that include fruits and/or vegetables.
