Program areas at Sun Valley Museum of Art

Exhibitions: the Sun Valley Museum of Art is a non-collecting Museum that originates Art exhibitions that range wide in scope and subject, bringing nationally recognized artists and their work to our community.
Learning and engagement: accredited by the american alliance of museums, the Museum also offers a wide range of free Arts education programs that reach multiple sectors within our community. Our longstanding partnership with local schools includes bringing visiting artists and musicians into classrooms, working with teachers to meet curricular goals, providing school tours of our exhibitions, and professional development opportunities for area educators. the Museum also offers skill-based Art classes, workshops and free family Art experiences for the community.
Public programs: the svmoa exhibition program is complemented by related public programming including ongoing lectures, outdoor summer concerts, live music, film, and performance.
Svmoa grants scholarships to blaine county high school and college students and educators for the study of the Arts and humanities. Svmoa offers scholarships to Art classes as well as discounted tickets for students and teachers to select events.
