The Susquehanna Art Museum exhibits nationally and internationally recognized artists to educate, inspire and foster creative exploration, collaboration and public engagement. SAM strives to be a cultural anchor for the Central Pennsylvania community, providing innovative, relevant and engaging exhibitions and experiences for members and visitors of all ages that excite, inspire and stimulate life-long learning, while also promoting economic development and tourism in our city, region and state.

Program areas at SAM

During the current fiscal year, the Museum provided facilities to serve approximately 15,500 students. These services were provided to enrich the awareness of and participation in the arts through the Art van for education, hands on workshops, and demonstrations. Program services provided through various hands on workshop classes demonstrations and forums.
