The Arc of Weld County

The awc continues to seek opportunities to broaden our reach and deepen our impact. In december 2023, our agency was confirmed to formally and permanently expand our services region from only Weld County to include morgan, logan, Washington, phillips, sedgwick, and yuma counties. Previously, we supported this region through a small grant provided by The Arc of Colorado. We have been and continue to be mindful that we must build infrastructure to do so, as we want to expand all services provision across our entire and newly expanded service region. We are refocused on fundraising and refilled The director of development position in march 2023, after a year absence. We have also expanded all of our community outreach efforts (aka program services) and included new collaborative community partnership, especially around education for both self-advocates but also families and caregivers.
