Program areas at The Butterfly Foundation
Butterfly housing assistance program (bhap) - we provide temporary and permanent housing combined with supportive services to homeless individuals and families with disabilities. Bhap is available in spartanburg, greenville, and anderson counties in south carolina.
Culinary job training program: students attend a 12-week training program to prepare unemployed, underemployed, previously incarcerated persons and homeless adults for careers in The food service industry. Once students complete The job training program, graduates are given an opportunity to gain experience through Butterfly's catering services.
Emergency home repair program- allows for up to $6,000 in emergency home repairs. Qualified candidates must be deeded The homeowner. Repairs must be emergency in nature therefore, no cosmetic repairs will be considered. Repairs are free and no cost to you as The homeowner.
