The Dream Center of Pickens County

Assistance includes housing and transition for The homeless, classes on budgeting, parenting, healthy cooking, exercise, etc. For 2022, we offered 622 free classes. We had 207 children receive christmas gifts through The santa shoppe (parents earned The assistance). We served 20 homeless residents in The opportunity village homeless shelter program. We received 640 emergency cases for crisis intervention.the local community provided 12,236 volunteer hours.we served 26 residents in our year-long homeless shelter for women and children. 5 residents earned cars.the Dream Center collaborates with The scdss, local primary and secondary schools, clemson university and local churches to assist families in danger of family separation and homelessness.the organization operates four thrift stores in four cities to help in funding The operations in addition to The fundraising and contributions they receive.
