Multi-family development:hac has created 370 units of affordable rental Housing in henderson county over The last 35 years. The units are all affordable, some are transitional Housing, and all serve various populations including seniors, families, veterans, agricultural workers, survivors of interpersonal violence, and individuals with physical, mental or development disabilities.
Home repair and rehabilitation:hac completed 424 repairs for 78 households or 119 people in 2022.
Single-family development:in 2022, hac completed 6 single family homes in henderson county and began construction on 5 others which will be completed in 2023. Over its historyhac has built 206 single family homes in henderson county and is working to expand to polk and transylvania counties in 2023. Our Housing counselors worked with 304 households in henderson county and 29 households in polk county to move toward home ownership in 2022.
