Social welfare is a social institution to provide support, usually financial, in time of need. These needs are basic needs that everyone should have access to such as food, shelter, healthcare, and medication. 3033 initial calls completed for services and referrals. 155 appoints for financial assistance (64% utilities, 23% rent, 8% food, 5% health/medication). 151,070 pounds of food distributed, impacting 3,450 households. 64 families placed in housing. 150 covid testing/personal protective kits distributed each month.

Community development programs address The issue of quality of life in our city and surronding area. These progams include family violence prevention and spiritual formation programs. Family violence prevention programs exist to help break The cycle of violence in our communities and promote healthy families by raising awareness around such issues as domestic violence and human trafficking. Partnered with nc coalition against domestic violence to provide an 8-week support group to women. Spiritual formation programs seek to transform The heart of individuals within The community and help them in building a solid spiritual foundation. It is our desire to express christ's love in The world and extend grace and mercy to all. We do not force our beliefs on anyone but stand firm on christ remaining at The heart of all that we do.

Our economic sustainability programs focus on eliminating barriers to financial stability while encouraging self-sufficiency and social responsibility. Individuals are assisted with career and/or educational counseling, financial stewardship, and employment support. 55 individuals assisted with education and career counseling.
