Program areas at Turning Point Domestic Violence Serv
Turning Point serves female and male adult Victims of Domestic Violence, their children, and their families as needed. Turning Point also serves as a community resource providing professional training, Domestic Violence awareness presentations, and workplace Violence prevention training throughout its Regional service area. Turning Point also seeks to advance systematic change to improve community safety and advance the prevention of Domestic Violence.
Turning Point runs a safe Shelter. Shelter capacity is 25 beds, although can be exceeded based upon need. Shelter program is 30 to 45 days in duration (based on extension requirements), housing women, men and their dependent children who have been victimized by Domestic Violence or sexual assault. Food, clothing and personal care items are provided at no cost to the client.
