Funding for 2-1-1 helped to connect nearly 32,000 Sonoma County callers and texters with information about health and human services available to them.
United Way's disaster relief funds enabled 9 nonprofit organizations to address needs related to the 2017 Tubbs Fire and 2020 Northern California wildfires. Some of the uses of the funding included, direct financial assistance to the most vulnerable, rental assistance, and long-term rebuilding costs through the long-term recovery group process in Sonoma County.Funding for Map One Sonoma provided funding to eight nonprofit organizations in Sonoma County to support programs that further the goal of a prosperous, resilient, inclusive, sustainable Sonoma County where everyone has an opportunity to thrive.
Funding for the Earn It! Keep It! Save It! Free tax preparation program enabled 27 nonprofit agencies to provide tax filing services to 4,300 low-to-moderate income individuals and families resulting in $6.6M in tax returns and credits throughout our five county region.
