Program areas at Urban Youth Impact
We provide after-school programs and local community outreaches, serving over 300 K-12 and college-aged students weekly on-site and at 5 outreach sites. "The Leadership Academy"(TLA) serves 96 students K-8 with literacy and social/emotional engagement. Results: 88% of our students improved their reading scores; 76% were reading on their grade level."Reframe" serves 30+ students grades 9th-college freshmen with college and career readiness, life and job skills, post-secondary planning, leadership, and summer internships. Results: 100% graduation rate, who either obtain jobs or college acceptance. XCREATEConnectingRestoringEmpower... Artists through Experiences) serves 130+ students with experiential learning electives in music, cooking, science, technology, engineering, arts, math and more. Results: Awarded the 2018 National Innovative Education Award by Chick-fil-A.
