Program areas at Watermans Community Center
Theatrical productions have been an important part of Waterman's programing since its inception. During fiscal year 21.22 offerings included: A North Haven Community School (NHCS) autumn production of "Queen Zixi of Ix," "Some Pig," a readers' theater adaptation of "Charlotte's Web," "Much Ado about Nothing" performed by Theater at Monmouth, "Mamma Mia, and our big summer performance was "Islands Revisited." Youth Programs: Laugh & Learn preschool, afterschool and other youth programs (including: Kids Night Out, Middle School, Teen Nights and grant to North Haven Community School), and Summer Camps: School of Fish and Little Urchins. General Events: Lectures & discussion groups, presentations, art exhibits, movies, holiday parties and gatherings, concerts, workshops, public gatherings in support of the arts, plays, annual flower show, adult workshops, and more!
