Program areas at Wellness House
Wellness House is a nonprofit organization that develops and maintains support groups and services for individuals diagnosed with life changing illnesses such as cancer, hepatitis c and fibromyalgia. In 2022 Wellness House provided services to approximately 8,252 contacts in person, via zoom and phone.2022 was a transition year for Wellness House. Through community support, we completed the $2 million remodeling project of our new larger facility in late december. During 2022, our staff, community members and volunteers planned and envisioned how Wellness House could expand programs and services to help our most vulnerable members in the yakima valley. Above all, Wellness House's goal was to provide all clients with a peaceful, welcoming home environment that enables healing and hope for their future. During construction, Wellness House was able to continue providing services to clients with life-altering conditions including cancer, fibromyalgia, heart disease, long covid, depression, anxiety, loss and many others.
