Program areas at Wild Bird Charity
Backpack program - Volunteers secure and pack food for children to take home from school each Friday. Focus is always on nutritious, kid-friendly, and easy-to-prepare food. In solidarity with the school districts, Wild Bird Charity secured enough food to feed 350 Whatcom County children and youth 6 meals every weekend for more than 9 months. Donor contributions provided more than 90,000 meals to families suffering food insecurity during 2021.
