Leadership conferences: in 2022, Iwlc held three professional leadership conferences: cedar rapids, quad cities, and des moines. These conferences featured internationally known speakers, workshops, networking opportunities, and access to Women's leadership resources. As a part of this programming, Iwlc maintains a scholarship fund which helps to keep events accessible to as many Women as possible. The scholarship fund covers the cost of event registration and is designated for students, minorities, small business owners, nonprofit staff, the unemployed, and/or other Women experiencing financial need or hardship. In 2022, Iwlc awarded 15 full scholarships to individuals valued at 300-550 each and awarded 10 student scholarships to individuals valued at 99 each. These scholarships are a reduction in the fees for services that would have been paid to Iwlc and as such are not recorded on the form 990.
Women connect: Women connect is a dues based group located in the cedar rapids, des moines, davenport, cedar falls, Iowa and sioux falls, south dakota areas who meet regularly throughout the year by engaging and connecting Women to share best practices and which hosts quarterly workshops for the group, and open to the public.
