Yolo County Visitors Bureau encourages visitation to the communities of Davis, Winters, Woodland, West Sacramento and the outlying areas of Yolo County including the Clarksburg Wine Country and verdant Capay Valley. They expand seasonal bloom campaign landing pages to include almond blossom season as well as the grape harvest to the sunflower period. Yolo County Visitors Bureau also manages the local destination marketing groups for Winters, West Sacramento, and unincorporated areas of the county.

Increased media exposure in the United Kingdom via partnership with the Central Valley Tourism Association and Visit CAs official media representation office. Hosted several journalists which resulted in valuable exposure in various trade and consumer facing media outlets such as newspapers, magazines, online digital platforms, etc.Hired a new marketing agency and began the process of rebranding Visit Yolo.Developed innovated immersive podcast series with award winning journalist/podcaster for placement on appropriate media platforms.Developed audio tour with Waymaker audio tours for promotion of driving tours in the County in the promotion of overnight stays.Refined the seasonal bloom campaign marketing efforts with revisions to the landing pages for almond, prune, sunflowers, lavender, other seasonal bloom periods.Managed the Local Destination Marketing group efforts such as social media, digital marketing, advertising, other for Winters, West Sacramento, Davis and the Countryside/unincorporated area of the county.Supported variety of events in Yolo County communities to promote outside visitation and overnight stays.Spearheaded the continuing effort by the Central Valley Tourism Association to expand its international product development footprint through the hosting of fam tours, securing face to face meetings at pivotal trade shows and events.Expanded promotion of the Clarksburg area of the unincorporated area of the County.Worked closely with Yolo County Wineries Association in expanding market reach via cooperative partnership.Facilitated leads from groups, event organizers, sporting competition facilitators.Introduced several clients and journalists to the wonders of Yolo Countys tourism assets.Continued relationship building with key partners such as Visit California and Visit Sacramento;Nurtured the visibility of Yolo County in the Germany travel market by expanding partnership support with key wholesale tour operators and their receptive agencies to grow room night development in this important market to CA.Conducted a marketing/advertising campaign with data research agency which resulted in a dollar investment return of nearly $300 per $1 invested.Participated in the Visit CA Destination Awareness program in their offices, educating some 80 staff members as to the virtues of Yolo Countys tourism assets.
