League operations: the operation of a youth soccer program in the Hudson Valley of New York. Services in the program include the operation of a travel soccer league for member clubs, support for non travel recreation programs, education, background checks on volunteers and coaching and administrative support for over 18,000 children and numerous volunteers. Revenue is derived from per player registration fees paid to the league by member clubs. Expenses include per player registration fees paid to the eastern New York youth soccer association in affiliation with the United States soccer federation located in Chicago, Illinois. Other operating expenses include the cost of player registration services, salary & wages of the office manager and two staff, office rent expense and other administration expenses. Academy program soccer program for all-star caliber players from member clubs. Services included in the program are near year round training of players by top notch coaches in indoor and outdoor facilities rented by the program. Academy teams participate in high level competitions inside and outside of the New York area. The program provides uniforms to the players. The program is open to all eligible aged players and acceptance into the program is earned by a competitive tryouts. Revenue is composed of registration fees paid to the league by parents of participating players. Expenses primarily include coaching stipends, field and gymnasium rentals and tournament fees. Indoor and outdoor soccer tournaments these are soccer tournament competitions that facilitate competition among our member clubs and help bolster enthusiasm for the game. The competitions are open to all member clubs and outside turns and are held annually in January and July at various field locations. Revenue is comprised of registration fees paid to the league by participating teams. Tournament expenses include field and gymnasium rental fees, referee fees, trophy costs, site preparation expenses and other operational costs. The tournaments are manned on site by members of the board of directors who are unpaid for these volunteer duties.
