Vincentians personally volunteer their time to meet with people who are in need, and by getting to know candidates through one on one discussions, are able to determine whether or not providing assistance to the individuals is appropriate, including whether such assistance helps the diocesan central council of Greensburg accomplish one or more of its charitable purposes. When meeting with candidates for assistance, Vincentians also offer encouragement for the candidates to grow spiritually the diocesan central council of Greensburg (hereafter referred to as dccg). To allow women and men to join together and grow spiritually one way that Vincentians can do this is through mutually supportive gatherings during the current fiscal year, expenditures were made for the 2015 annual dinner and mass. At this gathering people prayed together, discussed the past year's accomplishments and the goals of the upcoming year, and fellowshipped in a religious atmosphere.
