The Cause IQ search interface is where our customers spend the majority of their time while on Cause IQ. This is where you can put together target market searches, access organizations profiles, analyze market segments, create bulk reports, and more.

Cause IQ's search filter sidebar helps you segment organizations meeting specific search criteria (e.g., 501(c)(3)s, > $2.5M in revenues, in Washington DC). By default, Cause IQ displays a few of the most commonly used filters by all Cause IQ customers and some industry-specific recommended filters based on the industry you operate in. You can also access and view all 460+ organization filters by subcategories and search for filters by name and filter values in the "Advanced search", which is located at the bottom of the search filter sidebar.

Here's a look at the search filter sidebar within the search interface:

This section of the search interface is where you have access to different tools and features to help you work with your organization segment. Once you create your search query, you can use:

• The list view to see the organizations that meet your search criteria and to access their profile pages;
• The table tool to view key descriptive and quantitative data for the organizations in tabular format;
• The analyze tool to gain market insights by summarizing the qualitative and quantitative trends for the organizations;
• The benchmark tool to compare the organizations to their peers and generate custom compensation analysis reports for key employees; and
• The funding tool to see which foundations give to organizations meeting certain search parameters or organizations added to a peer list
• The export tool to generate bulk reports of organization and personnel information.

You can save your search segment by clicking "Save" at the top-right of the screen. Your future self will thank you for doing this. When you save your search, you won't have to recreate the search from scratch and you can easily open the search with the relevant organizations from the Dashboard.
